Better grab these up before the incredibly original Apple sues to get an injunction on ear music things on wires patent or some silly shart like that.

If you have Amazon prime, you can get these with the 2 day shipping for $17.28 (purple) or $17.99 (red). Other colours about $20. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDREX58V-RED-In-Ear-Headphones/dp/B004U5DH9W So it's an OK deal.

I have these in black and they are fantastic headphones for the price. Going to be picking up a second pair now!

Had a pair of Sony ear buds 3 years ago - paid $75. I was astounded at how poor the sound quality was. The base was flat and the highs were annoyingly pitchy - with every song I listened to on my ipod. Avoid these if possible. I even played music with the base turned all the way up (using the "Rock" setting on the ipod equalizer) for over a month. At the time, a lot of people were posting that the buds need a break in period before they sound really good. I never made it that far. After a month, I literally threw them away I was so disappointed. A pair of Radio Shack ear buds for $15 sounded much, much, much better than these. Now you know. Do what you want.

@dealhawk: You do realize that was three years ago? These are different headphones and are, for the price, the best I have found. This post literally has nothing to do with these products.

@dealhawk: If you're judging musical fidelity and you're still listening with an ipod, you're already behind to begin with. Then you mess with mysterious equalizers? And it sounded poor? Surprise surprise...

I've got a pair of these- they sound pretty good, but I've noticed that they come out of your ears very easily (especially when you move a lot). Something to consider if you were going to buy them for the gym.
