deals60" vizio led 1080p 120hz smart hdtv - sam's club…

isn't 120 just a little slow for this size of a tv?

@mkentosh: 120Hz is actually perfect regardless of this being a 60". The difference between 120Hz and 240Hz is indiscernible to the human eye. If you were watching ACTIVE 3D content in FULL HD (split into two 1080p displays across alternating pixel lines) then it would matter during scenes of fast motion or 3D sports. With this TV that is not a concern as it's not 3D.
You can get this from Vizio's website direct for $999 with free shipping so this is just an OK deal.

I was actually looking for something like this and pulled the trigger on the one at Amazon just now.
It's $999 on Amazon as well and you also get 2% back in rewards, plus free shipping and no taxes.

Only down side is it's out of stock, so I'll have to wait. But it's pre-order on the SAM's site anyway.

Here's a better deal, on a very highly rated TV - $898. Panasonic Viera U50 Series 60" Class Plasma 1080p 600Hz HDTV, TC-P60U50. This 60" is exclusive to Wal-Mart. Its not a smart set, but you can add that with a Blu-Ray player/AppleTV/Roku.

You can get better deals on Sam's Club Auctions. I just bought a 46" Philips 120Hz with built in wifi for less than $400 with shipping. Brand new, not a refurb.

Amazon charges taxes in CA now, that bites

you can also get this tv at walmart for those who dont have a sams club membership.

If you live in an Amazon tax free state then I would get it from Amazon. You would save ~$70 from tax and then get 2% on Amazon rewards from their 2% Back in Rewards offer).
Also, if you have a Discover Credit Card, they are giving you 5% cash back on online purchases for this quarter which can lower your price by $50 more.

@mozzerrocks: Not to mention the media is only at a certain frame rate anyways.
