Sorry folks. I got excited to see that this is back and thought I had mentioned that. I have oodles of points and never want to spend them on the regular stuff they offer, so I just enter the contests of interest and wait for the free soft drinks. Addiction is a terrible thing.

@belyndag: Thanks to the kind WootMod who corrected my error! Now off to spend some Coke Reward Points!

Thanks! I used to only use mine for club pogo but I dont play anymore so free coke is where my points go. I just ran out of coupons myself!

@belyndag: lol I'm not sure what the original title said..

But now it kinda looks like you get a free 12-pack and 250 Coke Reward Points for $0 :)

vote-for3vote-against

How is this a deal? They always 250 Coke Points. Heck, they were 240 back when I bought a bunch of them in October. I guess inflation even hits Coke Points.

vote-for3vote-against

It's a deal because most of the time you can't even get these coupons and they go fast. There isn't much worthwhile to spend your points on. I'd suggest anyone who is interested to pick them up asap.

@infernox: I've never had a problem getting the Free 12-pack coupons. Mind you, I generally save up my points and cash out when I've got over 2,000 banked, so I'm not checking every week, but whenever I do check, they are available.

Last time I did this I ordered 21 total with my points. Only 15 came in the mail the rest were lost or whatever.

get a few and wait til a grocery store has buy 2 get 3 free 12 pack sale, = 5 12 packs for 3 coupons, WIN

@drchops: (sigh) I originally neglected to include the "cost" of 250 points. This was pointed out to me after it was too late to edit my post, so I just asked a WootMod to fix it. I seem to be messing up everything today. Time to crawl in bed and hope for a better day tomorrow.

@infernox: They are always available at this point value. They just aren't always listed on the home page. It'll be a deal when they get down to 70 or 50 or 30 points. That's when they sell out. Don't be so quick to post deals...

vote-for3vote-against

@shadowblue42: My local stores NEVER have a sale like this. I'd be all over that. If I'm lucky, we get 4 for $12, if I'm REALLY lucky, it's 4 for $10. THAT'S when I stock up...

vote-for2vote-against

@shadowblue42: I generally just buy a bunch of these coupons with my Coke Points and wait until no one has a sale on Cokes before using them. That way, I never have to pay $4.99/12 pack. And @tcayer: I too try to stock up when I see a 4/$12 or 4/$10 deal.

vote-for1vote-against

@tcayer: On the one hand, I would like to thank you for letting us know that the coupons are always available on the site. I've been saving and using the points for years, but have only seen these available once, and only saw them that time because some kind soul posted the deal here. I thought I would play that forward.

On the other hand, "Don't be so quick to post deals...." seems a bit harsh, don't you think?

1000 POINTS for 4 - 12 packs? meh not worth it, points are more valuable then that besides just picked up 4 - 12 packs for 12 bucks on sale. Walgreens got it on sale 5 - 12 packs for 14 bucks. Nike cards are well worth the points.

vote-for1vote-against

@belyndag: I didn't intend to be "harsh" but it's annoying trying to wade through posts that people make just for the heck of it. I'd bet at least 50% of people who come to deals.woot have already checked all the deal-of-the-day websites, yet every day, here's the newest deal from dailysteals.com or 1saleaday.com. Someone who posts a deal for an item that is the regular price (unless it's a tank or cruise ship or missile silo)is just wasting time and space on the woot servers. I clicked on this because I thought they were having one of their sales for 30 or 50 points, only to find it's for the regular price of 250 (which I could have read in the title, to be fair.) That was my point. Sorry if I sounded abrupt. It's hard to convey tone in an internet post.

Mod should remove the word 'Free' from the title. I also thought this was for a free 12 pack and/or 250 free points.

Who like me, has a ton of Coke points, and can't find anything worthy to spend them on? Definitely will for this.

At last look, I have over 5k in points, with a ton of box lids that I haven't had the time to input yet - probably around another thousand points to input.

How many points does everyone else have?

If they would offer one or two really cool things, I'd use every point I had!

I remember back in the day, with Marlboro points, I had a inflatable canoe, and a bunch of other really cool swag with Marlboro printed all over it!!
I have thankfully quit smoking 16 years ago, and my reliable canoe finally bit the dust about 2 years ago. Very well made swag.

@wolfsmane: I'm in the same boat. After this deal I'm down to about 4500 points, but I have a bucket of points to enter under my desk and just haven't gotten around to entering them. When I first started saving the points they offered bigger ticket items costing several thousand points and I was hoping to snag something really cool. Now they top out at 2000 points and there hasn't been anything I want. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I enter their contests when something looks good (of course, I NEVER win anything, but I'm a sucker for a contest), and otherwise just buy the free Coke coupons. I did use them for one really cool thing last year, however. I bought restaurant.com coupons which I then used on vacation to score some excellent free meals. No good restaurants are available locally, but free food on vacation is definitely a winner!

Edit: And kudos to you for giving up the smokes!
