69 on Valentine's Day? But of course! Sure it's only a few flights and yeah it may be Baltimore to Albany, but who doesn't want to grab a bag of crabs and bring it to Rensselaer?

Looks like the average price is around $150 for a one way ticket. That's $300 round trip for sub-par airfare.

$69 would be a deal. $436 to/from major international airports within the US isn't. Disappointing.

I take a bus. megabus.com! 20 bucks total for round trip from Minneapolis to Chicago for two adults. woo!

I don't really like Southwest. Sure they have cute commercials and a funny staff, but they always advertise these great 'deals,' but at the end of the day other airlines are usually much cheaper. Sure bags are free, but who checks bags anymore? And when you do, it's often still cheaper than flying Southwest.

I do like that all prices at southwest now include all taxes and fees, I hate "deals" that end up costing just as much as a regular ticket after all the fees :)

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
