I love this site. The Applewood smoked sea salt keeps me coming back. And as for the free sample with purchase, I've gotten grains of paradise, Himalayan pink salt and Japanese aguni salt which my boyfriend likes in his coffee. I've gotten these free vanilla beans a few times now, and love using them to make extract like the @axphw1 mentioned, but when they're done being extracted, I let them dry off and put them in a canister of white sugar to make vanilla sugar for coffee and baking. I've also made excellent creme brulee with these beans too.
