This and hundreds of similar vintage out-of-copyright books are always available for free from Amazon in Kindle edition.

Or, you can just go to Project Gutenberg.

@narquespamley: To be totally fair, public domain books from Project Gutenberg are formatted in the most basic way and usually contain nothing more than the text itself. When you purchase a publisher's ebook (like with the Barnes & Noble Classics Series), you tend to get a slightly better quality ebook that may have been formatted a little nicer or had an extra set of eyes check for typos. They sometimes include commentary and essays regarding the text, which can be useful for students. I'm just saying that sometimes, it's worth it to spend a few bucks on a better version. If you are just reading an old book for the fun of it, Gutenberg is quite sufficient.

@drunkenalien you just need a better imagination. The book is DEFINITELY better than the movie.

Are you kidding me? The book was fantastic, way better than the movie. Jurassic Park 1 and 2 were way better in book form as well. Ah well, to each his own.

I really don't understand how it was better. The "girl" died, nothing changed, he just escaped. Then there was this section between the escape and the end of the story that was pointless. He was in the extreme distant future then he went to the ridiculous extreme distant future, described nothing and he went back... Why was it even in the book. I could go on...
