My local Publix has filet mignons for $16.99 per pound and NY Strips for $6.95 per pound, but they're USDA Choice and not Prime. Are these Prime and will they throw in free shipping or a discount?

This really isn't a deal. I've gotten the same package for like $30 total for the exact same steaks. This would come out roughly to $60 altogether.

ha! 4, 4oz Filet Mignons for $20. I would have to cook all of them up for myself

It looks like shipping would be $13.99.

@lavikinga They dont use the standard USDA system of quality. I questioned the clerk at my local Omaha Steaks pretty extensively and he said the quality is in between Choice and Prime. They are great steaks, could only get better at a butchers shop.

@wildgreenlantern: Thank you for the response. We had their bacon wrapped top sirloins before. They weren't bad, but not great enough to make me want to order them again. The shipping costs are usually what keep me from ordering. Every once in awhile they'll have stackable deals that make me more inclined to order. This really isn't one of them. Sorry, @thefenst. Not putting the deal down, but I think Omaha could throw Woot an even better deal if they really wanted to.

You can go to your local butcher and get free range beef for about the same price and it's significantly better.

I purchased these locally before. The steak was thin but good quality. The trick is to not overcook the thin meat.

Costco for your steaks! USDA Prime, doent get much better

After you buy food with this compnay once they will call you for months bugging you to see if you liked it and want to buy more already. I thought the steaks were decent but the harrasment after sucks. I will never give them my real numbner again.
