Those are some gross-looking feet.

@blainekyle: I thought they looked a bit odd. The nails are painted, but the legs look hairy. And the toes are curled under or something.

Ah, well. Feet are never pretty, anyway. Thank goodness MINE aren't on there! Or worse yet, my HUSBAND'S feet! Now those are some UGLY feet!

This looks like the cat litter mat that I use to try to contain the mess around my cat's litter box. Although I'm sure the mat itself is anti-microbial, I don't foresee this stopping mildew or mold from growing extensively on or around it after all the stagnant water that will get trapped.

@hanks35: Well, mildew-resistant doesn't mean it will never get mildew, but the reviews on Amazon mention that no one there has had a problem with mold or mildew yet.

I ordered one of these not long ago, and gotta say that I'm glad I did. Easy to use, seems to be holding up well, & a fine replacement for the plastic mat I'd used before. I'm a happy camper.

I bought this mat from another regular vendor-poster a few months ago, and it's the best non-slip mat I've ever had.

Instead of a gazillion little suction cups underneath, it has only one in each of the corners. This lets water flow easily under the mat and seems to totally eliminate the growth of mildew on the tub floor or the underside of the mat.

I have moderate diabetic neuropathy in my feet, so in addition to the mat not slipping on the tub floor, maintaining a non-slip surface between my feet and the mat itself was a primary purchase point. This mat feels firm and just slightly soft (not mushy) and it provides the most "secure" feeling for a shower floor that I've had in years.

@magic cave: thanks for the reminder. I need to get one for my Mom. Hadn't thought about the diabetic neuropathy issue.

@magic cave: isn't it a gas to find a product like this that's inexpensive, really works & meets a real need? I bought mine not expecting all that much, but I was willing to spend a few bucks to check it out. I'm glad we both found something that makes life just a tad easier.

@aeifler: I found them elsewhere and will have a deal posted for them in just a few minutes. It's for the same site where I bought mine.

New listing for the same mat (different vendor) just posted: http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/14d07817-e927-480d-a641-df9e1f7c01b9/non-slip-anti-microbial-hydro-bath-or-shower-rug

This is the vendor I originally purchased my mat from. Their price is $1 less, but they do charge shipping (Shipping varies depending on your region; it's about $6.50 to North Florida. You can get an estimated shipping amount when you go to the shopping cart page.

I paid $14.99 plus shipping when I bought mine, and it's genuinely worth the price.
