I picked up one of these a short time back. Many uses, to include trimming trees when necessary.

@mtm2: Not suggested for use on trimming trees.
I know a guy who used one for that, and spent two weeks in the hospital when he fell.

If you're going to trim a tree, use the right tools.

cordless is over rated, batteries are always dead and you don't get the consistency of a corded tool, yes batteries are handy but only for about 10 minutes at a time

@killjoy: Don't climb into the tree. This has all been ground level work. And if I had some C4 I wouldn't need a saw.
