Just bought the 8gb for 29.99 two weeks ago. I recommend holding out for a bit. The overall product works great! Great picture and it picks up audio from the other rooms. Make sure you scan for viruses first before opening preloaded files, rumored that it ships with a trojan. Mine was clean. Just a heads up... Actually they still have it available.

I recommend just get it from eBay.

I bought it for my cousin; it works great so far and has 8 gb of space. It may take a long while for it to be delivery to your house but it's worth it.

As the previous guy said, scan it for viruses first before using it. My cousin didn't get a virus but better safe than sorry.

I just don't get the point of using one of these things if you can't really see what it is that you are recording. Might as well buy a helmet cam with a higher resolution, that way you can see what you are recording.

Bought the 8 GB model several weeks ago. It stops recording sporadically without warning. Also, it's not very surreptitious, considering it has a blue light on the back of the cap that turns on whenever it's recording.

How can you get 16 hours of recording if the battery only lasts for 2 hours?

@frogshavemorefun: It probably means that it stores 16 hours worth of recordings.. So you can replace the batteries every two hours until you reach the storage limit of 16 hours.

Keep in mind thedealbaker also has a shipping charge and takes 3-4 weeks to deliver. The same goes with BenOutlet FactoryOutletStore ships the pen out same day and should arrive at your door in a few days.

The number of hours relates to the storage capacity. The 8GB model can store up to 16 hours of recording regardless of battery life.

I bought one of these last year...the button that turns video on and off broke and I could get no warranty support...

As for quality....The video was good quality, but the audio was lacking.

I ordered 1 from bensoutlet and still haven;t recevied it, this is like 3 weeks ago... in for 2 here, they even have 2gb, 4gb etc...and will cancel bens order... its much better to have it than wait and wait and wait...

I got one of these a while back and it worked pretty well for a while. However, I left it in the outlet to charge overnight and it is now completely dead. Not sure why but I expected something a little more durable.
