HP Touchstone Inductive Charging Dock (In Store Only) for $33.99
For HP TouchPad Tablets.
In store only - price is cut from $80 to $40, with an additional 15% off, it's only $33.99. STOCK IS LIMITED, but I purchased mine as late as 8:30pm last night in Pittsburgh Metro area.
So...exactly HOW do we get this additional 15% off?
Any accessory purchase this week for reward zone membership (free). I also saved 15% on a Playstation Move Navigation controller.
Also- found out Best Buy stores WILL price match amazon.com prices in store. Amazing!
Sold out in SF Bay Area. Suck.
@alexmg2420: Not sure if this is what he meant, but my brother told me that best buy is giving percentage discounts depending on the number you buy. I believe you need to buy at least 3 to get the discount. Not a bad deal as long as you need 3 or know 2 other people who need one too.
EDIT: Yes, I can confirm the website states if you buy 3 you get 15% off, if you buy 4 you get 20% off.
My apologies - I bought two playstation move accessories with it as well, had no idea that was why I got the 15% off - the clerk told me it was due to my reward zone membership!
Touchpad NOT included! So no deal for me. Bah! ;)
You have to be a TOTAL MORON to buy a tablet! They have much less function than a laptop.... generally around the same price and then you STILL have to buy crap like this! You got ripped off.
This costs a third of the price of a new 16GB HP Touchpad! A third! No thanks!
you guys are funny, I love it
$40 for the Touchstone still isn't that bad. It's cheaper then places like amazon are selling it for, though it might be hit or miss when it comes to finding one.
It goes like this... Buy three items at worstbuy get 15% off, buy four items get 20% off..
So if we you one of those greedy bastards who bought 6 Touchpads right before me.. this would be a great deal.
(Yes, I cursed him and he laughed :( lol )
Checked stock at Crabtree BB in Raleigh on Thursday - OOS.
Its funny, both my Office Depot and my Best Buy say that 'We sent all HP Touchpads and accessories back to HP'. At Office Depot I had the manager look up stock and verify they had the touchstone 'somewhere' on Monday. I left my name and number to reserve one. I've been back twice, but that manager hasn't been in. I asked the manager on duty, and both times have been told 'We sent all stock back to HP', even though I could CLEARLY see touchstone's sitting on the counter behind the copy center folks. Employees waiting for payday is my guess. Even today, four days after I first went looking for one, the Office Depot website says 'limited availability' (which is down from 'in stock' yesterday).
@thenoodle: sounds like u got your order cancelled. So don't hate.
@dep3che: Don't feel too bad. HP is killing the WebOS, so his touchpads are going to be worthless. HPs moving in favor of Android powered tablets now.
