Whatever you do, don't let these socks' blood sugar get low.

Wilford Brimley: You change your socks, and you change 'em often! There's no reason not to!

Serious issue. Socks will be very loose as diabetics have poor circulation in limbs. Many have feet amputated as disease progresses.

I'm chuckling at the previous comments!

I ordered a pack of these earlier for my son. He's not diabetic, but has been asking for khaki socks. This deal is the same price as other 3 packs I've been looking at.

My husband's not diabetic but he suffers from chronic neurological pain in the limbs so I buy him diabetic socks as they don't hurt as much. This is a good price, I'm in. Thanks OP.

@brainofkjf: You're quite welcome. I want to get some for my Mom, but she would refuse to wear them. (sigh)

I often wear diabetic socks, and they are more comfortable, depending somewhat on which shoes I'm wearing. FYI, there are also Diabetic shoes, and Medicare will pay all or part, assuming that you actually need them. I'm wearing a pair now, and they are much better than regular shoes or sneakers.

I bought diabetic socks, and wore them one day. At the end of the day they had hugely created an impression in my leg at the top of the sock I think took like 24 hours to get back to normal. Not good.

@gideonfrost: Low is okay. Everyone gets low sometimes. It's easy to treat with 10-15 g of carbs. High is the issue. You don't want these socks to get a high blood glucose, could lead to all sorts of problems down the line. Especially DKA, DKA really, really sucks. Voice of experience there.

@tnrobert43: I'm not diabetic but I did dispatch ambulances for several years. We always took any blood sugar issue seriously. It's my understanding that low blood sugar can cause you to go in to a coma if left untreated long enough. Also it was just a joke.

@gideonfrost: Of course it was a joke, and it made me chuckle. I'm assuming that @tnrobert43 was simply building upon the joke, as evidenced by "You don't want these socks to get a high blood glucose".

I am a diabetic, and you both made me laugh. So...thanks for that.

@gideonfrost: @mamajamerson Diabetic here as well (T1, diagnosed at age 45). And Gideonfrost, I knew it was a joke :) I was building on it, well, I was trying to build on it. It's all good.

crai9g234 you fit the profile for blood/fluid collecting in the leg. These, plus keeping your feet higher than your heart, are good for you.

We bought the khaki set on May 4th. They arrived May 7th. Amazing. We normally buy the diabetic socks at the local swap meets, but my husband ends up taking scissors to them as they're usually too tight around the calves. These fit great, he loves them and no scissors so far. Looks like they restocked so I'm in for a set in white and one in black. Thanks again!
