These are $3.29 everyday assembled and with free shipping at Meritline. I bought one there a few months back. It is just a mini solar panel mounted on paperclips, with a cell phone motor under it. It has to be directly in very bright sunlight and then all it does is spin the motor which causes the "grasshopper" to vibrate. Yay! Save your money...

these solar bugs are great. i also have the roach. very cool summer toy for the kids. will work at close indoor light to. but bulb has be about 10 inches close. regardless fun toy for the summer. pretty solid construction too. they should be around $3 for a good deal.
