I just picked one of these up on Amazon the other day for $7, and I think $4 shipping. This ain't no deal.

Also note, if you plan on putting this on a key chain, buy a different flash drive! The previous model came with a nice little ring you can attach to a big key chain, but this model comes without that little ring, and it's impossible to fit the same little ring onto the new model here. I didn't believe all the reviews about this issue, but it's true, and now it's hanging onto my key chain by a trash bag twisty tie.

Oh, and the construction quality of this new model is horrible. The old model felt pretty light, but this new one is even lighter and feels like it's going to break at the slightest touch.

I'm thinking of just picking up another old model, which is even cheaper ($6.20 right now).

Yeah I wasn't too impressed with the design of this model either. It feels very flimsy.
