Not free... it is .99cents unless you are a prime member! :(
It's free to borrow for Prime members only. It's $0.99 to buy.
Actually, it's free to borrow for Prime members who have Kindles.
If, like me, you have Prime but use the Kindle app on a different Android device, it is $0.99 to do more than view a sample.
However, $0.99 is cheap and if it does even half of what it claims, well worth it.
Well, I make incredible beef stew (if I do say somyself) and would be happy to share my recipe for free, but I'm still tempted by this offer. I'm a sucker for cookbooks.
I'd swear when I posted it this morning it said "free," period, not just for Prime. :(
@belyndag: I'll take you up on that offer.
I'll save you the 99 cents.
1. Dredge your cubed meat in flour and brown in bottom of pot with a little oil. Remove meat and set aside.
2. Deglaze pot. Add enough water to boil potatoes and onion chunks.
3. Add meat and seasonings. Simmer 45-60 min.
4. Add vegetables last so that they don't over cook and become mush. Simmer 15-45 minutes.
I am not completely happy with my beef stew -- it certainly isn't incredible -- so I'll take you up on that offer, if you don't mind.
(Read that as: please and thank you.)
This is a very misleading deal. Free to TRY if you have an Amazon Prime account with a Kindle. Any other way it is 99 cents.
@monkeyboyep: It WAS free when the deal was posted. I know that because I picked it up yesterday morning when there was no mention of Prime at all.
@belyndag: Yes, please! Can you give us your recipe. Mmmmm...stew...
LOL! Offline since morning and now I see three recipe requests. @pamfenway- your free deal might have expired, but you certainly got some folks hungry! Watch the question board for my recipe in just a few minutes. And please add your own ideas and suggestions!
@dreamyvelvet Thank you! I was sure it said FREE all the way earlier!
@belyndag Hey, as you say, even if the deal isn't the deal it was meant to be, happy you found a home for your recipes! :)
