WOULD LOVE to hear comments about this chair. I have a seriously messed up back and core strength is the key to recovery.

Leo Laporte over at www.twit.tv sits on a ball (w/o the chair frame).

all you need is the ball for 9 bucks at target. thats all i use at the computer for years. with just the ball you can then do crunches or stretch on it

@volvodriver: Except Leo Laporte is a douchbag... haha

Dwight should get one of these.

The whole point of using a ball to sit on, is that it rolls around and you have to use your core to balance. Set it in a frame and you are defeating the whole idea.
If you are getting a ball to sit on, make sure it is "burst-rated." Meaning, that if it gets a hole in it, it won't burst like a bubble, but the air will slowly leak out. It will still be a ruined ball, but at least you won't fall flat on your ass and bust your tailbone. (Very, very important if you have wild kitties in your household :o)

@theloolee: You still get the same benefit since this chair has wheels on it. You still have to keep yourself balanced to not roll around.

I would imagine you get a better benefit if you have it on a hard surface.

I have had this char for 2 years and it has helped my back tremendously! Not to mention my core strength has improved... better than doing 200 sit ups at the gym everyday :)

I love this chair.

The ball doesn't run away when you get up.

I tried just using a regular balance ball and it wasn't the right height and I was always finding it everywhere.

the lower price is already included so it's still 67.98, plus shipping it's 77.97.. Hmm.. I'm still debating on whether or not to get it.
