You know, when I heard about this game I thought it was going to be too childish and stupid, but it is hilarious and fun. I've spent hours playing it and go back now and then.
Haven't played it but heard it's quite fun. Appears to be quite popular on the iPhone.

Fun and extremely addictive!
popcap is awesome.
I'm fairly certain the everyday price for this on Steam is $9.99.
This game is AWESOME.
kezzek is right, it can be found easily elsewhere for cheaper.
Also the Steam version has extra achievements you can earn, which I do not believe are available in the regular retail version.
Totally awesome game!
I like to purchase the game on an actual disk. That way if I have to reload it I don't have any troubles. In the past I have downloaded games and then after I crashed my computer, I cannot always get them to reinstall and the keycodes don't work properly.
I gave this game to my wife (NOT a gamer), and she hasn't eaten or slept now for a month. If you want to buy this game, be prepared to quit your job and devote your life to killing zombies.
you can buy it off steam for $9.99 always.. so not such a great deal.. >.<
Love this game, I purchased it through Steam a few months ago on a whim as I'm not a huge gamer and I played it incessantly. I was very thankful for it when I was laid-up from work with pneumonia and couldn't do anything else but kill zombies!! I wish they would come out with another!
Dammit, how am I ever supposed to have a life away from the computer?!!!
$9.99 @ steam she mutters.
Great game, especially if you are a tower defense fan.
I'd rather pay the extra $4 and get it from Amazon than install Steam on my computer, but maybe that's just me. You also get the box and installation disc so that's a plus.
$6.99 at bigfish games:

When you check out remember to take the check out of the big fish free trial membership (unless you want it -- seems like it might be OK if you like casual games -- dunno).
Fun game!
You can play the full version via flash at popcap's website.

You can also get the full game via Steam for $9.99 at http://store.steampowered.com/app/3590/
or you could buy this at steam for $9.99.
And look at all the other reduced popcap/other games. There's World of Goo for $12.25. The game is just as good as Plants Vs. Zombies, if not a little sticky and it comes with enough entertainment value to keep the younger family members off your back...unless they pretend they're goo balls.
I'm sure steam might have it cheaper too, but people like discs, the format that just won't die.
Love this game and the minigames mean you'll have lots of playtime. Where else can you shoot frozen peas at zombies?
Great game, super addictive. If you don't have anything to do for about a month or so (like eat, sleep, work, etc.) then this is the game for you. My eyes still hurt from playing it sooooo much. My name is Rob, and I am a Plants Vs. Zombies addict. I've been clean for about 3 months now. If you'll excuse me I have something to go do...
Wait for few days, I bought this game from steam at $2.99 and yes they have AWESOME SALE all the time.. infact I was playing the game right now its addictive.
I did not like this game, as the entire game was linear. The game is perpetually based around 5 straight lines, and there is no real differentiation, aside from monsters and tower choices, in each level. With the vast expanse of tower defense games around, I would reconsider purchasing such an uneventful cookiecutter imitation of the genre.
