Thanks! Ended up buying the $70 one. I've been wanting one of these for ages. :)

Bought one of these 4 years ago to put in a mame cabinet. Works awesome.

Atari Football uses two trackballs but it would be awkward to play that in non-cocktail setup.

@mrgrogg: What two-player game uses two trackballs? I can't think of a two-player trackball game where both players play at the same time...

totally a YMMV, but we bought one of these for an arcade machine we were building for our organization. Worked fine for about a year, then it stopped working for some reason. Customer support was helpful in identifying the problem, but it took nearly 2 months to get them to ship the replacement part (first excuse was "must have gotten lost in the mail" then the other was from a different agent who needed us to go through the troubleshooting process again, and took weeks to return my emails). When it works, its great, just sometimes you need to tighten the buttons (don't really know how else to describe the fix) and ours had a soldering issue in the USB connection.

I've had one of these for years. I use it on a dedicated MAME computer. Wonderful controller.

These are built really really well.
I got one of these and built a sort of arcade machine using a 10 year old laptop and a cheap used monitor for my family. I found a torrent file online with like 1000+ old arcade, nintendo, sega, etc. games.

I sprang for the one with the trackball just so I could play marble madness :)

@mrgrogg: One of those golf or bowling games like they have in bars?

@mrgrogg: Almost all arcade games that use a trackball are single player. The others are normally like golf or bowling titles, games where you take turns.

What two-player game uses one trackball?

@bearete: thx! got the $70 one without trackball + $10 shipping.

The trackball adds $90 to the price which I couldn't justify for me..

Cool, also one without the trackball for $69. So, $99-ish for 2 Player PS3 Arcade.

@tsfisch: ditto... :(

If the console adapters weren't $59 each (well, $59 for the 360- some others are cheaper), I think I COULD justify it. That's just too much for an adapter.
