A bit cold in my neck of the woods for hammocking... but it's never to early to get ready for next summer!

I picked up the double hammock and the robe & carabiner kit a while back and love it.

My only complaint is that when in the double by myself, the sides really wrap up and around you like a cocoon!

However, the thing is VERY light, very well made and goes back into the bag easily. So far I've just left the ropes and hardware outside for a few months now and they are still fine so durability shouldn't be a problem. Shipping was super fast and they even included a little handwritten "Hope you like it!" note which was a nice touch :)

If you've been on the fence I say go for it and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The issue with the wrapping up around you can be resolved if you lay in the hammock the "proper" way. You need to lay across the spine of the hammock at a slight angle. It'll level the hammock out a bit and it shouldn't wrap up so much.

I love my double hammock! The wrapping around you is pretty great when it's a bit chilly outside too!

(Not trying to be condescending or anything. Just trying to be helpful.)

Lotsa people will use a good sleeping bag in them with camping for superlight backpacking. My zero degree bag would be perfect for my hammock and the Rockies... soon as I get my bravery on to walk out there solo, any day now!
