Haters gonna hate, what can you do?

TIL there is a 3rd deals.woot-cowboy :O

I'm CyberCowboy pretty much everywhere I'm at on the internet. Started back in 90's when I was rodeoing and spending a lot of time in cyberspace, it became my Compuserve name and stuck.

vote-for9vote-against

strange but the detail says
" The credit expires on May 31, 2011, at 11:59 p.m. PST."

vote-for4vote-against

Looks like @cowboydann has a protege... no one wants to be an Indian?

vote-for4vote-against

@themave: yea Usually they have an expire date, but I couldn't find one (didn't look close enough apparently) thanks for adding that.

vote-for4vote-against

@themave: Maybe a typo?

However, you do have a limited time to Tweet:

"To receive this offer, you must click the button above to follow Amazon Instant Video on Twitter and tweet the above message between April 27,2012 at 12:00 AM PST and May 1, 2012, at 11:59 PM PST."

Not sure whats up w/ typo on expiration date, but confirming it worked for me. I got an episode of peanuts for and an episode of Lunar Jim for and both were charged for .00

vote-for9vote-against

@snooty2toes: Probably because they didn't want Amazon sending tweets through them. Or don't have twitter.

vote-for8vote-against

Just tweet, then delete,

and still get your 3 bucks.

vote-for0vote-against

@cybercowboy: not say "hatters gonna hate", for a start.

vote-for2vote-against

I haven't tried out this amazon product yet. Thanks!

Keeps giving me that error :(

Worked for me...nice find...

@jeremytheindian: Truefax, I learned everything I know from him, also he was black triangle first :P Funny thing is @cybercowboy has been wooting longer than both of us, while my account was created in 2009 I had only checked it out about 10 times in between then and when I made my first woot purchase back in june of 11.

vote-for2vote-against

I'm an active wooter, not so active in forums or deals though. I'm not even sure exactly what I need for the black triangle.

vote-for0vote-against

This one went smooth as silk!

If you want to unlink your Twitter account after collecting your $3, go here:

Thanks for this one. MI4 Ghost Protocol for 99 cents? Here I come!

vote-for1vote-against

99 cents for a rental isnt a bad gig at all good find

Here is why I won't do this and will downvote it, as much as I love Amazon:

It wants me to install a Twitter app to "Authorize Amazon to use your account" to:

Update your profile.
Post Tweets for you.

I have no apps authorized on my account and won't allow this one. Am I wrong or being too cautious?

vote-for2vote-against

@jrhusc: Totally entitled to do as you wish, however as has been said multiple times you can have it send a single tweet, get your $3 and then unauthorize the app and never have it send it again.

That said I've had the Amazon app connected to my twitter account for about a year and a half and it has never caused a problem or sent a tweet without asking first.

vote-for2vote-against

@jrhusc: Or you could just create another Twitter account just for this and authorize the app. No need to use your primary account.

vote-for2vote-against

This is biased against those who do not have Twitter. Sad face.

vote-for2vote-against

linked, tweeted, got $3, revoked, deleted. All in under 2 minutes.

vote-for1vote-against

@sfcchase: Yes. I ended up doing just that.

vote-for0vote-against

@thedogma: similar to how the deals that aren't free are biased to those who don't have money.
