dealsfiskars telescoping lever lopper & powergear…

vote-for7vote-against

This is tempting. I have avoided the far Eastern made Fiskars products, but this may be too good to miss.

vote-for-2vote-against

I'm not a fan of Fiskar products but for this price I can use them for a few jobs and then just get rid of them when they're dull. Plus I won't mind if these get knocked around compared to our more expensive Corona brand pruners.

vote-for8vote-against

I like Fiskars tools. I have used some Fiskars hand pruners for about 15 years and they work better than any others I have tried. Also, the mechanical advantage the gears give you make it possible to easily gut through branches which are too tough for most loppers.

vote-for-7vote-against

I have some Fiskers pruners and they work great. However you can get these at walmart for about $16 and no shipping today. Home Depot also sales these. This is not a deal and with shipping actually cost more. Great product but a bad price.

vote-for4vote-against

@jpisanich: This deal is for a combo set (2 loppers). Are the WM & HD packaged the same way or were you looking at the price for a single lopper? I may drop into Wally World today if they have the same combo pack cheaper! Thanks.

vote-for8vote-against

@jpisanich: You can get ONE of these for $16-25 or so, depending on the store. You cannot get BOTH of these for a total of $25 at any store, though. That's what this deal is for.

vote-for5vote-against

@bdoug399: That's what I was thinking, unless it was a "Special Purchase" package. Sometimes these combo packs aren't obvious enough when listed as a deal on Woot...an easy mistake for "jp..." and the rest of us to make!

vote-for14vote-against

Hey everyone, let us clear some stuff up for everyone :)

Yes, this is a set of BOTH tools, not one. Also, we are simply giving you both tools, as it's not a bonus pack or anything. So yes, this deal is as good as it sounds! We used these in product testing and can attest to the fact that they worked VERY well!

In addition we have the Fiskars 7" Folding Saw available to add to your order for only $6 with free shipping during checkout.

vote-for8vote-against

I just used some of these the other day. I was actually cutting branches over the max rating and they still handled it. Great stuff.

vote-for7vote-against

I purchased a 32" Fiskars PowerGear Bypass Lopper last fall and it has worked quite well. I spent over $30 on just the one product and have never regretted it.

vote-for6vote-against

I have the power gear one. It works great and doesn't dull up quickly. They are lightweight, but sturdy. Easy to carry around. Ordering this set as it is a great price.

vote-for3vote-against

@locobuy: I added these and the saw, the shipping still showed 4.99, is there a code or something to change it? I'm in if it's free shipping.

vote-for4vote-against

@rossismyname: Greetings! Well, the order still cost $4.99 to ship, just the saw ships as no additional cost. Sorry if there was confusion.

vote-for3vote-against

@locobuy: So, what you meant was no additional shipping. I see.

vote-for3vote-against

Any chance these can cut through cables?

vote-for2vote-against

Bought. I need to lop a few things around the yard.

vote-for3vote-against

Was locodeal.com once called 13Deals? I went to order the Fiskars and discovered that I was already a customer of this site, except the name was 13 Deals. I got real junk for my money at 13Deals so I am not leary about ordering

vote-for4vote-against

In for 1. I bought the Name Brand shower heads deal from this site. (or 13deals - Jammin Butter) One of them was messed up and they sent me an rma and refunded my money no questions asked. No problems and good deals = Repeat customer.

vote-for5vote-against

I've had a Fiskars Power Loper for about 16 years. They work great, and have tolerated much abuse. When my wife broke a blade trying to get the lopers unstuck from a hickory branch that was way too big, I called Fiskars, and they gave me replacement blades, even though the lopers were about 10 years old at that point, and being used beyond their design capacity. I like!

vote-for2vote-against

@june12345:.... Correction....I meant to say that I am leary not that I am not leary

vote-for0vote-against

I've been using Fiskars scissors ever since I was a kid, now I find out they got big boy scissors too?! Wow. Of course these are great.

vote-for2vote-against

I've got a set and they've worked well for the last two years. Looking forward to another trimming season.

vote-for3vote-against

@june12345: locodeal is part of the same company.

vote-for1vote-against

I have a set of corona telescoping pruners and must say the telescoping feature is usually more of a hindrance than helpful. if these extend the same way as the corona's (by twisting the handle) you'll find when you need to add some extra torque to get through a thicker branch it just ends up slipping.

vote-for1vote-against

Just a head's up. We are LocoBuy, not LocoDeal :)

vote-for1vote-against

I've had a set of these limb loppers for a while. The grips slipped off within the first weekend of use and the entire handle came loose not long afterwards. I won't buy another set.

vote-for2vote-against

I was going to order a pair but can't get a secure log in on their sight.

vote-for1vote-against

I have a mystery... Bypass telescoping goes from 24.5" to longer, which means at it's shortest, it is 24.5". The Powergear is 18" which is 6.5" shorter than the telescoping... yet, the images show them to be pretty dang close to the same length? Help me get some sleep tonight! Someone!

vote-for1vote-against

@madgehotdish: Yeah, same here. Its a no-go for me. Sketchy..

vote-for1vote-against

I just got mine in the mail and they are NOT real fiskars products. they are green and labeled "garden pro". Also the saw they sent is clearly knock off Fiskars. looks like fiskars and even has their logo on them but they are cheap plastic. But...they get you cause even though they are knock offs they are still worth the $10 each. I'm keeping them.

vote-for1vote-against

I haven't gotten mine yet, I was so looking forward to them, but now I am not. I got ripped off by a company (13 Deals) that I think has the same ownership. I will never be tempted to order from them again. I now don't know if I should refuse the shipment. (hard for me to do because my delivery person just drops the packages and runs)

Will you post again when you have used the cutters? I love Fiskar, don't like rip off products.

vote-for1vote-against

@june12345: I think you should send the crap back. they seem ok...but they are DEFINITELY not fiskars.

vote-for1vote-against

If I send them back it will probably cost me more than just keeping them. Do they guarantee their products (I know tne answer to this, and the answer is NO) I bought unsatisfactory stuff from a company with a similar name aand it just pure ahd simple junk. I wonder if my credit card compahy will charge them back for the full amount. Has anyone else received these clippers? I have not received mine yet, maybe they ran out and I will be lucky and not get them, thus no problem

vote-for0vote-against

RIP-OFF ALERT! Definitely not FISKARS products. They are green GardenPro, very cheap, and don't even look like the picture. DON'T BUY FROM LOCOBUY!

vote-for1vote-against

@bettinahildegard:

What, if anything, are you going to do about the "bait and switch' "Fiskars"? I have not received mine yet. I really don't need these loppers because I have a good pair, I just bought because I like Fiskar and thought I would keep as a spare...just in case if I lost the ones I have

vote-for1vote-against

From what I understand on their web site these can be returned ...they may not be defective, but they are not as described.

"We are happy to process returns for any items that are defective or broken upon delivery, so long as you contact us to prearrange a return within 7 days of delivery (you can do so via support ticket or phone call). In this situation, we will arrange postage for you and issue an RMA form to be completed and included with the return. Once we get the item and RMA form back and the item is deemed as defective, a replacement will be issued to you. Refunds are issued if no replacement unit is available. Please note that no returns without an RMA form will be accepted."

vote-for3vote-against

I just got my set and they were Fiskars.

vote-for1vote-against

@mrohrer: ....Well, that is good news. Maybe they read this thread and were afraid they were going to be inundated with returns. I have not received mine yet. I will keep my fingers crossed that they are
Fiskar's, if not, they will be returned

Did any of you get the saw, and the $.99, surprise item?

vote-for1vote-against

Who knows? For me, didn't order the saw or the 99 cent crap item. Have enough saws around here and don't need more crap.

vote-for1vote-against

@mrohrer:

LOL I so agree, I probably, more than you, don't need one bit more 'crap' around this house BUT, I just can't resisit a $99. cent surprise. and my saws are always dull.

I still have not received my 'Fiscars'

@locobuy:

Did I say 'ripped off'? If I did I am sorry, but I believe ripped off is your term not mine I believe I said the items I received were junk/crap/not what I expected.

I ordered 'As Seen On TV' glue to have on hand. When I went to use it, it was a solid block in the bottle, totally unusable. I also ordered a couple of silicone basting brushes, well, the 'bristles' fell out on the first use, but you get what you pay for (? ) they were free with the order. The knives were disappointing, but maybe that is because I already had good knives but, I am always on the look out for another good knife .

I forgot where I had parched this merchandise it until this Fiskars deal was offered and that refreshed my memory. I then check to see if I had ever ordered from the company It was a long timer ago, but I remember I never ordered from 13 Deals again.

vote-for1vote-against

My Fiskars are in transit and should be here on the 23rd

vote-for2vote-against

Mine were waiting for me when I got home last night. The items are as advertised. I did buy the folding saw and it may end up in one of my hunting backpacks.

vote-for1vote-against

My loppers arrived today, they are as advertised, Fishars. I was sort of wishing they would send the wrong loppers then I would have been in a free pair of a different brand to test. The $.99 Mystery item is a Star War drinking glass (Nothing I want, or need, or can use. Next time I will resist the urge to see what the MYSTERY ITEM is). I will be giving the saw and loppers a try out tomorrow.
