$9.99 is the correct price for TiVo monthly service. They are offering a 50% discount to antenna customers :)

Why do that when most cable providers offer an HD DVR with service for between $7 and $12 a month. Gullible.

Charter is my cable provider and they charge $15 a month to rent their DVR. TiVo looks like it has way more features than my current Charter DVR, which sucks by the way, and you own it. I'm gonna give it shot. Just my two cents.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
