Great price, also, it is low power & will fit in compact cases!

Good Deal, Wish it wasn't a rebate though...

would be a Great video card for your mainstream or Media Center PC User

@forrest89sei: It's a great deal w/o the rebate even.

:-( Got one from NewEgg when it was $47.99 (8/5/11) and $25 rebate. On the plus side, the card works great for my needs.

I have an Emerson LCD that does not have a vga input. Can I use just the HD out from the video card to the hd in on the tv and use it as a monitor or do I need a converter? Thanks

@robearlbms: If you look closely you can see this card has VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs. What exactly do you need to convert it to?

@robearlbms: HDMI output should work, but you would need to check the user manual for your TV to verify.

@robearlbms: Your answer is, YES. Your Emerson TV with HDMI input would work GREAT with the HDMI out from this card. Better than VGA.

Bought one of these earlier today to add to a HTPC. I've never had a problem with the mail in rebates through newegg, though i've never heard of this particular company before.

@uskrewed: I believe if I was going from a vga out on the video card to the Hdmi in on the tv, I thought I saw that I would need a certain converter between the two. According to the replies, as long as I have the 2 Hd connections, I will be alright. thanks again

It's now $49.99, so other than the MIR there's nothing special about the buy now.

@furbearingmammal: Even at $30, it's still a great deal on a 1GB card.
