For use by Buzz Club members only. The jury is out on whether they're gonna pat you down for a membership card when you try and use the coupon.

@tlmitchell: Their members have a buzz club? I may have to go find one of these stores just to join up. I need a card that says member of the buzz club, so I can use it with my hand buzzer. Whoa! and I found a local one, too. I can't imagine they'd be selling anything that I want (I have Woot for that already), but I do want that card.

It is free to join the Buzz Club and similar to buy 10 get one free cards you get at sandwich shops. For every time you spend more than 20 bucks, a point is added to your card and if you do this 10 times within 12 months you get 20% off your next entire purchase.

They sell everything including large furniture and mattresses so you could save up by buying small stuff like a curtain rod and Tupperware and then save 80 bucks off a mattress w/ your 20% off. They'll also let you swipe multiple times there so I normally go with my gf and my mom and use their purchases too.

Just go up there with the coupon and if they ask for you to join it's absolutely free. Either way you get your 20% off.

@wootvan: That link only lets you "pre-register". You still have to go pick up a Buzz Club card at the store. Save the time (and the spam) and just sign up at the store.

I've used this before and I'm not a member or whatever that is. The cashier takes it with the typical glazed-over look in her eyes.

@wootvan: I think I'll just join at the store, so I can use full fake info. I just want the card, I don't want to shop there. Ever.

Used it yesterday here in Charlotte area without being a member...no problems or questions asked.

@shrdlu: whaaa? But its so amazing. Brand names at low prices, don't you understand???

if you pre-register, you'll be in their system and can be found by the cashier using your email account.

This is a great deal.

There is a store near me, so I printed out the coupon. Thanks!

I already register, there is not problem getting a weekly ad in the inbox, I need a mattress and 20% is good, on top of their good prices and with additional points in the frequency card.

@brdunkle: WOO HOO, I live in the charlotte area... and i must be doing something wrong, still white...

@shrdlu: Think of Big Lots as like a woot off, but all at once. It's like they substituted 3 dimensions of space for the dimension of time! You don't have to wait for an item to sell out before seeing the next item. You don't have to pay $5 shipping (just however much gas it takes to get there and back). And you get to take your purchases home with you!

I wouldn't buy furniture there, but they good prices on food and bath items.

Used the coupon yesterday, and cashier smiled. Easy to use!

Shop there for close outs - would really have to think about it buying anything that is "food" or anything that would enter your body such as toothpaste...
Good Deal if you need that set of glasses for that wedding present you forget to pick up last week for the brother that you hate.
