REFRESH RATE: 60Hz
Why does Walmart hide the refresh rate on some TVs? I had to GGL the model number to find out. I'm skipping this deal cause I want 120Hz min.
You giggled at it? ;)
@sdanrich: I was wondering how long that comment would take to pop up. Dude, it's a $400 dollar TV. This is the kind of TV you get your mom for Chistmas, not one to hook up to your Xbox or play Blu-rays on. Just take for granted that if it's from Walmart, and it's an off-brand, it will be 60 Hz, and make peace with it.
@mgherter: Dude, DuDe, DUDE, don't go reading negativity into things where there aint none.
for $400 bucks I can live with 60hz
@sdanrich: ;) It's been a rough morning already, sorry if it came off a little caustic. Dude.
8ms response on a 60hz refresh rate?! I didn't think anyone made TVs that lousy anymore.
I just bought a 37" 1080P 120hz LCD from circuitcity/tigerdirect for $407 after the 15% bing cashback with free shipping.
Another everyday price "deal" from ye ol wally world.
Are we sure Amazon acquired woot & not wally world?
This has been shared as a deal every couple days. Here is my comment from the other deals made popular:
Seen a steady decrease in price for this unit over the last two months. That should speak for its self. Here is the comment from the last deal.
"Proscan used to be the RCA high-end trademark; RCA (at least the TVs) was purchased by Thomson; they leased the proscan name to a Korean outfit that has the TVs made in China. I've never owned a Proscan (post RCA)... but the internet buzz is that they are of inferior quality and that it's virtually impossible to get support in the USA."
I used to sell Proscan(s) and can not recommend them.
@r81984: So post it as a deal then...
@xarous: I was getting ready to comment about it being a duplicate, but there you were posting it. Nice catch.
If you know what bing cash back is then you should already know about the deal.
If you dont know what bing cash back is then you really have no idea how to save money.
Anyways this was the TV: http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5605071&CatId=3649
It looks like they raised the price from $479 to $499 and I doubt the bing cash back deal is still around since Bing cash back ends today or tomorrow.
Bing cash back gave you a 15% off rebate.
@sdanrich: It seems to me that if it doesn't mention the refresh rate, then you can just assume its 60hz. Anything greater always seems to be in the specs.
i dont know about this model, but i purchased the proscan 55" from walmart for 1099 and have had it for 3 months and i think its great tv at a great price. It has the 240hz refresh rate
FIRST OF ALL PROSCAN ARE HIGHER END OF RCA TVS. AND IF U REALLY LOOK AT THE MANUAL ALOT ALREADY COME 3D READY. I HAVE A 32INCH ONE IN MY BEDROOM AND I LIKE THAT (mod edit: profanity) BETTER THEN MY SAMSUNG IN THE LIVING ROOM. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD TVS. DEF WORTH THE MONEY...
Anyone care to Offer a better deal for 400? I'm moving, I need to pick up a new tv, and while the refresh isn't the best... it's fast enough in my opinion. There's a lot of negativity like always, but no other solutions in this price range coming forth.
@kinglink: Here are a couple of links to a FAR superior TV:
smaller screen size, free shipping:

@jjckristoffer: From above & researched to be true:

You have got to be kidding with that link...

A 720p 41.5'' TV? I think I would rather live with the 60hz refresh rate rather than 720 on that size.
