@dreamyvelvet: You had the same idea as me! I bought 10 and was expecting to pay more for S/H but it was still only $4.95 for a total of $9.34 (including .59 tax). Can't wait to get these and donate them to those in need. Just think, Christmas is only 3 months from today! ;->
this may end up being like the sketchers deal where i got an email a day later saying "sorry" but no deal, but definately going to try ;9)

@gretchena: actually come to think of it it could just b e the standard dollar charge they do to verify there is money on your card and will clear within 3 days

You know, the more I think about it, I believe that this was an entry error by an employee. Probably should have been on sale for $38.00 not $.38 Regular price is $74.99. Bet someone's doing a violent head/desk right now. Or perhaps the supervisor is doing a violent head/desk to that employee. Also feel it's doubtful that our orders will be honored.

For the "less fortunate"? How about the people who dont get ANY aid and are taxed to hell for it? What about the single parent who takes care of their elderly grandfather as well and works two jobs? No, screw me, no cheap coat for me this year. I could quit, get free rent, food stamps in excess, utilities paid at 100%, free phone, free cellphone, free tech school education (but when I paid for my schooling, I was ineligible for ANY aid if I had wanted it), free health care cradle to grave (no appointment necessary, just go to the Emergency Room; NO WAITING!) and the amount increases every year...
The "needy" in this country are nothing but a pampered whining cancer and need to be shown what REAL poor are like. No poor person in India has a 60" TV and two cars, let alone ANY gold jewelry or designer clothes. Not ONE of them are overweight.
@aoviss: obviously you can't see past your own needs...your generalizations may be true of some but not the majority - i'd advise you to go volunteer at your local soup kitchen for a day and maybe you'll have a realistic view - small minds make for small people - just sayin'

@aoviss: FYI: I AM a single mom. I am also the only caregiver for my 88 yr old grandmother who is dying from dementia. My income is considered poverty level.

PREDICTION: Orders cancelled, form mail sent apologizing for pricing mistake, Wooters outraged that Coleman won't honor, total number of comments on this thread reaches 3 pages; mostly people vowing never to do business with Coleman again, everything blows over, the guy who was most adamant with his anti-Coleman campaign buys one of their lamps next summer before a camping trip.
Post on their Facebook page what a wonderful company they are for offering such a great item at a very low price to give a little back to their customers in tough times like these.
Initially bought one, then bought 10 to donate , hope Coleman knows what there doing on this one
I posted on their corporate page on Facebook... drum up the sympathy comments... would be a real bummer if they canceled this one.

I understand the need and want to donate but usually buying large quantities of items like this force the company to cancel many orders. Lets just hope it does go through :/

They took the coat off. Bummer. I was going to buy another one for my friend. I got a confirmation email from the company that my first order went thru. They should keep their word and honor the order. Regardless if the order is for $38.00 or 38 cents.
