Today heralds the return of one of the most successful wine stories ever to come out of Australia. Sarah and Sparky Marquis have a true gift in both making wine and marketing what they make. Their website is a playground of information on them, their wines, what they do, and how they do it. Check out the trademarked “Marquis Fruit Weight” and “Vineyard Watering Programme” video clips from their site.

Sarah and Sparky obviously have a lot of fun with what they do. More importantly, consumers clearly have a lot of fun drinking what they make. People call us year round asking about the wines, especially the Shiraz, and we always have a wait list for its release. This year we decided to make an offering to our mailing list as soon as the release came along.

Pete's is a wine specialty mom and pup wine store in Seattle.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
