I don't have this specific one (mine is a little tiny rectangular box), but these are awesome - they automatically detect which of the 3 inputs is sending video, so if you have decent speakers plugged into your TV you don't need a receiver at all!

+1 for these. I have one and am completely happy with it. Even supports 3D on my HDTV.

From reviews on amazon, these switches don't seem to work with Roku, TiVo, and some other devices. Not sure why, but it seems to be the case for some people.

By the way, this item is cheaper here than on Amazon (though Amazon also has a hdmi switch that is different but cheaper)

@boydrew:(about this device not working well with some products) Some products, such as Roku, do not shut off which would mess up the ability of the 'auto sensing' feature.
