Though still made in the states, Apex Tools (Craftsman Sockets) was recently bought by Bain Capitol and has announced closing of several plants. The production is being moved to "..domestic and chinese plants.." The local factory was told last week they have two weeks left...another 270 people (directly) unemployed by shifting production overseas. Guess, I'll have to buy all Stanley now. Anyone know if Stanley is still 100% american made?

@undrpsi: Of course not, they might make a few things here, but import most of it. We've progressed to a primarily service economy.
