dealscompetition series 4 piece table tennis table set…

"Four pieces" means that there is a crack/seam running down the middle line of each side of the table. We returned a table like this as soon as we got it home and realized it would make for a potentially uneven playing ground--especially if the ball hit right on the crack. We ended up getting a barely-used and much, much better one cheaper online.

@scottnkris: Very cool comment. Proves the old adage about "getting what you pay for" ;)

I knew I had got my hopes up when I saw this. Thanks for the comment scottnkris. I just got a new place and really wanting to get a nice, not cheapo but affordable ping-pong table.

Could always get one from Killerspin for $5k... Just sayin' ;)

I have this same table. The four pieces part is not an issue, as there is tape that comes with it that masks the seam in the middle of each side of the table. It is the same as 2 pieces. They are completely even on both sides for me (used a level to check). I have not experienced an odd bounce since I put mine up just after Black Friday last year. That's my two cents.

Also got a 4 piece table on black friday (mine from target). It's only very rarely that the ball takes an odd bounce, so it's worth saving the cash for those few times that it happens.
