It appears that though you have to do the reload before the 24th of August, you won't actually see the additional $5 bonus until the week of the 27th.
I sure hope the $25 reload I just did yesterday will count!

I was surprised to get two emails on the same day with this level of reward. I'd gotten pretty bummed at SBUX stock drop over the past few months. Maybe they are making it up to me.

@benmhogan: I am having the same issue on my Android device. I get an error message saying that the password is incorrect, yet for some reason it works on the actual Starbucks website. I guess it's an issue with the application/widget?

@digitalurbancamo: I don't know if you have a starbucks account of not, but I do -I just completely ignore those emails. Due to this offer, I just happened to run a "starbucks" search through my gmail. Lo!!! I knew they sent an email advertising their featured products every week, but they do have a pretty decent deal every month or so. I've been missing out.

Attn: Android users. Bug fixed Aug 17 for the "invalid password" during the manual reload. Get the latest from Play Store, My Apps and update the Starbucks app.

I never received the bonus initially either. After e-mailing Starbucks Tuesday, I got this response today:

I would first like to start by apologizing for the delayed response to your email. I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. I was able to review your account and found that you did meet all the requirements for the Visa Promotion. I do apologize that you have not received the $5 Bonus. I have added the $5 Visa Bonus to your Starbucks Card XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Thank you for your patience!
