If you contact Steam Support they will give you a full refund on preordered games that have not been released yet.

Did the same thing @justincredibleg
Is it worth the hastle for 5 bucks? Absolutely not. And can anyone confirm this does come with steam activation code right away? Didn't see it on my glance through the website.

@raynich: Bought it on D2D today and yes they give you the steam activation code immediately.

Says in the product description:
•Internet access for Steam activation
•Requires Installation and activation on Steamworks.

What a load of crap. Tried to purchase, they want a phone number even when I use PayPal, then they say they can't complete it and I have to call them.

Screw that.

lol. it's a digital download. there better be free shipping

They have the most annoying check out process.

I was trying to use my credit card. Ran into the phone verification, took the phone call and successfully inputted the pin. My card was declined (despite me using it just a bit ago).

So, I decided to try paypal. Everything was going smooth until it told me I had attempted the maximum number of phone verifications.

Fine, don't take my money.

@borge12: My phone activation failed without explanation and I have no idea if I should try a checkout again or what. Waiting on a ticket despite realy wanting to preload this before midnight...

save your money, came across bugs at launch. I should have waited till later when the patches come out and the price drops to $30-40.

@jmcloughlin3: no bugs after 3 hrs of game play on PC

vote-for2vote-against

@jmcloughlin3: yeah, my cousin stayed up and waited for the mindnight steam release and has played a little over 6 hours. He said he had no glitches either. A quick google search doesn't bring up much about people who have been having errors except for those who torrented a cracked version and have been playing it. Maybe you should buy the game and see if that solves your problems...

Yeah I played for an hour or two last night... seems to be the least buggy Bethesda release to date.

...Anyways, deal is RIP, but I believe Target is selling for $60, with a $10 Target gift card... I'll go post another deal in a minute.

I ended up buying from Steam because they decided that my moving two months ago meant that they shouldn't take my paypal account. It took them four hours to resolve it and by then I had already gotten it from Steam so I'd be able to preload for midnight. If they can't manage a live chat customer service system then I don't think they even deserve my money.
