Do these things have expiration dates, i.e., any chance these are being discounted due to a limited shelf life?

Not a bad price per Kup but the variety isn't that desirable.

comes to around $0.45/kup

in my mind hot chocolate should be made with milk and these machines don't allow for milk

Costco sells a couple of flavors at 80 k-cups for about $35. Out of these, the hot chocolate is OK but doesn't dissolve all the way, the capuchino is not good, the cider is a novelty you might like one or two of. I don't know about the other.

I bought a box of Hot Chocolate at work where I share my Keurig with several other people and those have been fairly ignored.

Pumpkin spice is excellent. Cider is also very good. Haven't had the others.

I'm new to the whole Keurig Kcup world so as I order from Amazon a 3 pack of Hot chocolate(variety- dark chocolate, milk chocolate, & peppermint), I am trying to figure out why the hot chocolate didn't come in envelopes, this didn't keep me from a desired cup, I opened up the little cup, poured it into my microwaved cup of hot milk, & stirred. YUM! It hit the spot.
When I told my daughter about how silly it was to put the contents in little cups she was LOL. This is when I was educated into the world of, "one kup wonders", & the magnificent machines.
Take some advice, don't bother buying this or another single Kup machine to make hot chocolate, buy a microwave instead!

@gr8tone99: That is hysterical...and reminds me that I need to call my mother. LOL

@abravesfan: They all have an experiation date, its generally 6 months from production date. Generally speaking though, experation dates are always made a couple weeks before actual spoilage occurs, and flavors only start getting stale in coffee after about 3 weeks after experation if it remains sealed.

I love my keurig and have developed a taste for one particular k cup variety after trying many. For that reason, this is a decent deal. A good way to be able to sample many different flavors. However, the one negative is that the hot chocolate is kind of stupid. I have purchased hot chocolate for the keurig (a couple of different flavors) and it is not terribly tasty and so much cheaper to buy hot chocolate the old fashioned way (in canisters or envelopes) and just use your microwave or teapot on the stove. I question the tea for the same reason. You can buy tea bags for single cup use which I would think would be better than using the keurig for tea since steeping the bag gives you the best flavor. But, a sampler of coffee is a fabulous way to find the ones you like most.
