I bought this on a recent woot for $199 + $5 shipping, and I have no regrets. I'm using the included 4GB SD card in my point-and-shoot camera, and I bought a 16GB SD card (class 6) from New Egg for the camcorder for $33. Good buy IMO.

This camera is only a good buy if you intend to use it with the included editing software. Uploading to youtube is a breeze. The software is limiting though. It only provides youtube and .wmv output at 1280x720 not 1920x1080.

The mini-HDMI output provides full 1920x1080 (cable not included) and is great if your just going to watch your movies on your HDTV.

Premiere CS4 does not do well with the file format, unless it is first exported as 1280x720 .wmv. I'm not positive, but I would assume that Final Cut would handle the file format better because it is natively recognized as a quicktime movie.

Note that this is NOT and AVCHD format camcorder. AVCHD is widely supported in most of the major editing software and is native in Windows 7 Media Player. This camera was discontinued for Samsungs AVCHD compliant camaeras that are out now.

Camera is great if you understand its limitations and what it can do well.
