Seiko 5 Military Collection Automatic Movement Canvas Strap Men’s Watch for $54.99 + shipping
So you’re on the front lines. No reason you can’t accessorize, right?
I have one of these, and it is frighteningly accurate for a mechanical watch. They are really great if you have a small wrist too, as the diameter is much smaller than most current watches. The band is a bit rough, so you may look into a replacement, but for 60 bucks you can't go wrong.
Here is a bunch of comments about problems with Dynamite Time:

BUYERS BEWARE
@lurp: Holy crap, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I was about to pounce on this deal until I saw that thread. How the hell does a company like that even stay in business? Such shady dealings.
I bought a watch from Dynamite Time last August. I didn't have any problems with my order and the watch is still working great.
I would buy a watch from them again, if I wore a watch more often.
I also bought from DynamiteTime last year (3 watches) and was satisfied with the experience. I did stumble on a negative thread which had me nervous after ordering but had no problems.
Cloths straps get gross after a while.
So, from left to right:
Marines, Air Force, Army, Navy?
Water proof?
I would absolutely get one of those watches, but I can't stand fabric straps.
As for Dynamite Time, I ordered from them once before. The watch I received had a dead battery, so I went and bought a replacement battery. I emailed them about the problem and how much the battery cost, and they reimbursed me for the battery.
I would order from them again, it's just a matter of them selling another watch I would want.
This watch also comes with an SS strap. It's a great watch, and you can find great deals on eBay from trusted vendors.

@st3go: I've had one for about three years and could never get it to keep good time. Did you have the watch adjusted? I'm curious to know if there is something I could do to make it keep time better. I love the watch, but can't wear it often because it keeps time so poorly.
If you're not comfy with dynamite time, Buy.com has this too for $54 with free shipping.

30 meter water resistant, so ok for daily use, but probably not a good idea for wearing while swimming. My understanding is that the water resistant measure is static pressure, so any movement increases the effective water pressure above the actual depth. I know some people swim with them no problem, and I have worn mine while giving my kid a bath many times, but it is not the best idea to test the limits.
I do not own one of these models (but have been eyeing them for some time) but I do own another Seiko 5 that uses the same 7s26 automatic movement. The movement is incredibly accurate and durable. Certainly not as accurate as a quartz but automatics have a certain appeal that quartz does not. $55 is an amazing price for these, I would swap the band though.
Oh, but don't try swimming with one. You're just asking for trouble. Would be fine for occasional splashes and hand washing but don't get one thinking you'll be jumping into the pool with it.
Those are some pretty bad horror stories. I've been eyeing this site for months, waiting for an automatic but I'd be hardpressed to push the buy button now.
I have the black one. It's an awesome watch. I swapped my band out for a NATO strap and it looks way better. I can't speak for the vendor, since I got mine from Amazon. Mine has the newer 7S26C movement and it keeps excellent time (I lose about 4 seconds a day).
