To pay tribute to the iconic Nike Dunk Shoe, Nike Golf introduces the new Dunk (NG) Golf shoe for young athletes to sport this year, including professional golf athletes Michelle Wie and Anthony Kim. Staying true to the original Nike Dunk created 25 years ago, the Nike Dunk NG has kept the original fit and feels just the same without compromising performance for golf. The shoe now has golf specific features such as advanced traction by Scorpion Stinger Spikes and valuable full-grain, waterproof leather for poor weather conditions. It comes with two sets of shoelaces, which allows athletes to show their true colors on the course, choose to accentuate a bright color on shoe or opt for traditional white.
For those of you unfamiliar with Nike's Dunk shoe, here's a hint of its history. In 1985, the Nike Dunk was created as a basketball shoe and instantly grew in widespread popularity, especially when basketball teams began wearing them to match their uniforms.
