The Fifth Element (Blu-ray) (Widescreen): Blu-ray for $7.88
Save $19.11
New York cab driver Korben Dallas didn't mean to be a hero. But he just picked up the kind of fare that only comes along every five thousand years a perfect beauty, a perfect being, a perfect weapon. Now, together, they must save the world. Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Gary Oldman star in acclaimed director Luc Besson's outrageous sci-fi adventure, an extravagantly styled tale of good against evil set in an unbelievable twenty-third century world.
This movie is the reason Blu-ray exists
I was digging through the bin yesterday, they also had district 9, crouching tiger hidden dragon, short circuit 2 (why the hell is short circuit 2 even on blu-ray??), and maybe 10 more, but I was buying my first blu-ray and had to choose between district 9 and crouching tiger to be my test disc. Went with district 9, and got short circuit 2 for comedy purposes

@pezzltj: Los Locos kick your ass! Los Locos kick your face! Los Locos kick your balls into outer space!
Aziz, Light!

One of the few movies I actually enjoy watching with Chris Tucker in it. He's annoying, but it fits perfectly with the character he's playing.
This is my favourite Bruce Willis movie, hands down. So awesome!
Great flick! I might have to break down and get a Blu-Ray player since a lot of movies are becoming available for under $10. I own this on DVD but I'll bet it looks friggin' awesome on BR.
I'm confused. Why is everyone so excited over a movie about Boron (http://www.webelements.com/boron/)?
@systemjinx: Super Green!

I <3 this movie. It's just remarkable how well it's aged, one of those movies that has just gotten more appreciated over time.
Out of curiosity I looked to see if it had any nominations for Academy Awards... only one for Best Sound Editing (losing to Titanic. Blech). No idea how it wasn't even nominated for Best Visual Effects.
@novastarj: there were countless awesome movies that got overlooked because of Titanic, which if we're being honest, sucked out loud. i can't remember any off the top of my head, but the wife and i have looked up several movies to see if htey wont awards, and it always seems like they are nominated, but never win because Titanic swept up the awards for some reason.
@musicalman: Yes, she knows it's a multipass.
This should be fantastic on Blu-ray! Campy movie, and I agree it was overlooked at the time. Thanks for the deal!
@ndcouch: I sat through Titanic for only the second time a couple weeks ago (the first time being in theaters 14-odd years ago).
It's absolutely stunning how horrible the dialogue is. It's just incredibly artificial, simply not how people talk at all. I truly can't believe I didn't realize it earlier.
We're sending someone in to negotiate.
Do we know if this is the 2010 remastered version or the crappy 2007 version?
Got this in a 2pk with Gattaca at Wal-Mart for $10 about a year ago. Great movie, great blu ray.
@bryantanner: From what I've been able to find, the grey label at the bottom of the box is shiny in the remastered version...
So if the picture on Walmart.com is correct, you're buying the remastered version. Apparently Sony will send you the remastered if you have the old one though.
Also, it's out of stock.
@disturbed0ne: I just clicked it and it is in stock. Ordered!
