I got my first Kershaw pocket knife as a gift over 20 years ago. I've still got that one and added 4 more to the collection. In my opinion, they are the best knife you can get for the money.

I have 4 Kershaw knives, 3 of which actually belong to me. I found my brother's Onion Chive in our parents' couch, so I figured his carelessness (around small children, in particular) should result in him losing his knife. ;P I particularly like the Chive and the Burst.

I own a couple Kershaws myself - my favorite, by far, is the Ken Onion Leek. It's light and has a smooth, quick action. Works great as a casual everyday carry, probably wouldn't hold up too well in a construction setting though.

@bogus: Check out their Leek. It is extremely thin.

I think the best Kershaw deal on Amazon right now is the Cryo. It's a Rick Hinderer design -- tinyurl.com/c6j3z9x

Their AOs are okay, but really bulky especially when considering many of their non-AOs open just as easily if not moreso. I have a Chill and really like it, it's a good everyday knife due to its small size.

Big fan of the Kershaw SpeedSafe opening mechanism. I've got the Volt II and have been more than pleased!
