Wow I shouldn't spend the money right now, but this hard to pass up. (edit: Think I will try to use this for the 1TB..total should be $55 if it works - $99.99 - $20 - $25)

Worked like a champ. $59.76 with tax for the 1 TB. Definitely worth it to get the 2TB but if you're a bit broke like me, here is the link to the 1TB:

@meh3884 Glad I could help! My Dad has been trying to find a good 2TB HDD for a while, so I was excited to see this one. I agree that the extra $30 is worth a whole TB, but if you are strapped for cash (believe me I know the feeling!) the 1TB for $55 is pretty freakin sweet.

Seems like they are slowly getting back to "pre-flooding" prices. If only the SSD prices would keep coming down!

This was still a great deal so I hope I'm not a buzz kill, but I just checked my PayPal and my account has been flagged and limited shortly after using paypal to buy the $25 off $75 coupon. Working through it now to see whats up. The coupon transaction is being "held for inquiry by PayPal".

edit: This is a pain in the butt process. They are having me jump through verification loops, including calling my phone. Unfortunately they can't use a cell phone which is the only type of phone I have. PayPal now has to mail me a letter, until then I can't pay for anything via PayPal. Rawwrrrr.

@meh3884 Let me know how that turns out. E-junkie is a reputable website, so I don't know how it could have caused issues.

e-junkie.com/staples

If anyone wants to find another 25 off 75 coupon from someone else, just to make sure that they don't have PayPal issues.

Can I use 2 $25 off $75 coupons in one transaction?

vote-for2vote-against

Just picked one up and my Paypal transaction was smooth. Went with the 2TB, as the extra space is worth the $30.

The code will take about a minute to send to you after you complete all the steps with Paypal. I used my CC option in Paypal to make sure I was double protected.

My new hard drive is on the way! BOO-YA!

For any of you unfamiliar with e-junkies, the reason you have to buy the coupons is because they are fraudulently generated. They work, but they are NOT legit.

Hmmm...current price is $129.99; with a $25 coupon, that comes to $104.99, not $84.99. So where does the $30 difference come from? There is a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 2TB External Hard Drive-USB 3.0 for $109.99 (not the same thing as what is listed here), so with the $25 off that would come to $84.99, but Staples is saying it's no longer in stock.

vote-for1vote-against

Don't see how you got it for $84.99 and it's out of stock now too.

vote-for2vote-against

If you read the description, there are 2 coupons. A code listed in the OP for $20 and one at the external website for $25. But, yeah, it is sold out now.

@meh3884

WHY WONT IT READ!?!?!

Comments like that always make me think of the South Park CentIpad episode...

List price = 129.99
41636 code = (-$20)
EJ Coupon = (-$25)
Grand Total = $84.99

But yes, it is out of stock. The EJ coupon and the code both work for the other external drives, so I will probably just make a new deal with the coupon code specifically.

i got the 500gb for $58 after taxes and cupon. i dunno if it will work for other drives. 2 cents

vote-for1vote-against

Worked for me around 715PM Central time. Had to purchase the coupon code for like .69 cents but it went through fast right away and after I applied all of the coupon codes and checked out with my credit card everything went through very fast and efficient. It didn't say it was out of stock and I got the two TB as well. Thanks for the deal!

vote-for0vote-against

@luckz05: Well 2 TB USB 2.0 and 2 TB USB 3.0 are two different products. 3.0 is out of stock so you might've got a the 2.0.
I got mine yesterday for $93 after taxes.

Why does it show 129.00 when you tap "I want one"
