Considering this was $60 when released just last year this is a steal. Keep in mind though, that to keep up with any friends you'll probably have to drop another $50 on the "Premium Content" Which includes a whole bunch of crappy expansions. I got this game for $25 on Black Friday and defnitely got my $25 out of it in the last year. Multiplayer is where its at, don't bother trying single player.

Already owned this for Xbox (with Premium) but saw it a few weeks ago at $10 via Origin and wanted to know how the 32v32 was instead of the normal xbox sized maps.

So worth the $10 more to play some of those levels with more people (the bigger maps don't feel so lonely).

Too bad Premium doesn't carry over to the new platform too :-/

$8 for a game that kicks the crap out of those "other" garbage FPS games is a no-brainer.

Camptastic sniper converts from Halo, Gears, and CoD can expect to be teabagged often. Guys hiding in their cute, little Hello Kitty sleeping bags with a "hand-holding friend" on Brokeback Mountain aren't welcome in Battlefield.

I have it and Premium for the PC. You'll find plenty of players for the basic maps. They are some of the best designed maps of the set. Don't get too wound up about not having the highest level weapons when you start. Most weapons just work different, not better. Weapon addons though do help though so get those as quick as you can (e.g. good sights).

@mastabeef: to the best of my knowledge (might be wrong) one person can be logged into the account at any given time, just like how yahoo/msn messengers work. you can buy and install it on many computers though using the same account.

Geeze, I was about to buy in myself when I saw that I had to install all that extra bloatware crap on my computer. I have enough viruses and bots that find their way into my system without opening it up and inviting them in! Thanks, but no thanks. Not even for $8.
