Ahh... it's so tempting considering I just purchased a case of wine online only a couple hours ago.

I think I'll need to pass though... most of my wine gets finished within a couple of hours of being opened, so I don't think I'd get enough use out of these.

Yugster offered this a few days ago for $9.97 plus $4.00 shipping, for a total of $13.97. Moofi's price is $17.99 shipped. Not much of a deal.

You can get those little corks for $2.99 for 2 at Homegoods or Target. The Aerater is great though, friends that have come over & tried it say they can tell a difference.

I have this aerator. I don't have a sophisticated wine palate by any means but I can definitely tell the difference. The only thing I would say is that I am often concerned it will fall out of the bottle as I am pouring. If you are using a 1.5L bottle, that is significant weight being put on the rubber gasket. But, it hasn't fallen out on me yet...

I own a Vinturi and one of these. The Vinturi is great but a little cumbersome to use since you have to hold both it and pour your wine through it like pouring through a funnel.

I bought this Metrokane Aerating Pourer the last time Woot offered it. I love it! It's easy to use. It hasn't slipped out at all. My wife loves it because she only has to use one hand to pour through it and it does the job it was intended to do... opening up the flavor of the wine and softening it.

You're right about the price plus shipping being a little high but, the Vinturi sells for $35-$40 so, you can't beat this Metrokane Aerating Pourer for value overall.
