$15 shipping almost negates the woot discount. Womp womp.

Promotion did work, but $15 shipping brings it to $38.09. Passing due to the high shipping cost.

@yumac29: Yup. Currently available for $34.20 from Amazon, so if you have prime you can get it for a few bucks less. Epic fail due to high shipping cost. Downvoted for not really being a deal (and being a bit deceptive).

Note it is not the famous Waterford crystal but some other material called "Crystalline."

From Waterford's website:

What’s The Difference Between Waterford Crystal and Crystalline Glass?

The short answer is the make up of the crystal with lead oxide content. Take for example Waterford Crystal which has a lead oxide content of over 33%, whereas full lead crystal is classed in excess of 24% lead oxide content.

Full lead crystal is made up of Silica (sand) Potash (ashes) and usually Red Lead (lead oxide)

The characteristics of Crystalline Glass is below the 24% mark and is commonly known as lead free crystal, or soda lime. All glass contains a certain amount of lead oxide, but nothing to be concerned about as regards leaching from acidic drinks or alcohol being stored for a long period of time.

The sparkle will still be there, the brilliance is still there, the weight is still there, but the lead oxide will be in a diminished capacity.

In fact, Waterford Crystal carries a line of Waterford Crystalline Glass which... is much cheaper to manufacture than full lead crystal.
