Dismal reviews on Amazon, although some users reportedly happy when using a workaround, placing it on a platform and allowing it to drain into a 5-gal bucket. Portable air-conditioners tend to be massively inefficient due to the fact that the machinery is in the space being cooled, and thus waste heat is shed to the environment being cooled. Heat removed from the air is ducted out the window, however, so some cooling happens. Would be better if it ducted the cool air instead, or could alternatively be mounted flush to a window. Right price, though.
