I normally prefer Monoprice cables if I'm going cheaper.

These are those crappy 1 dollar cables you can find at any guitar store. I've had like 5 of these and they're all broken. They fall apart and stop working out of the blue.
I'm all for cheap stuff, but when the stuff is unreliable and breaks then you're just throwing your money away, however little the amount.
