The extras and that are good, but you'll want to pick up another case to hold all the disks because this comes in cardboard sleeves which will scratch the disks if you leave them in it. Along those same lines make sure that you check all the disks when you get them because if one slid around a lot in shipping there's a good chance it will already have a good number of scratches.

Other than that it's a great set to have, and I've got one myself.

Thank you for sharing this. I've wanted to series for years but refused to spend 200$ on it. This was still over 100$ cheaper than the lowest price I could find (new, used were the same but wouldn't trust 54 dvds used). Awesome birthday present to myself :)

oh man... this is a box of time suck... I've watched every episode of the Stargate tv series, probably because I was unemployed at the time. Don't think I could ever manage to watch them all now (because you can't stop with SG-1, you've got to watch the others).

Stargate! It's a crazy trip! You can go real far and you don't need a car or even a ship! (Some of my favorite moments were listening to the commentaries lol)
