Finally a place I can eat with my hands without strange looks.

I got a great seat up front at one of these in Chicago many years ago, and one of the performers dropped his lance on me when his horse reared up and knocked him off. They were so scared I was gonna sue them. I should have asked for a free meal or something. Still, a fun show.

A fun place to go for dinner and a show. If you sign up for their e-mail offers you'll occasionally get buy one get one free admission, or other such deals. If you live near one and have any interest in medieval things, or just in some pretty cool horsemanship (and don't mind eating with your hands) then I suggest you check it out once!

They just changed the show this year. Not sure how the new show is but they only change it every few years.

Our band back when I was in school would go to this show in Orlando when we played in Disney World. I never really enjoyed it, and the food is half decent. I would never pay the outrageous rates they charge, plus the show thing they do just seems like going through the motions.

..but that's just me.

Who said they didn't have utensils? >.> I mean sure they didn't have the same stuff we do. But they did have more than their hands. They weren't cave men.

Er but either way not really important to the deal.. It's an awesome deal and a great place to take the kids. Least IMO.

I went there once. The staff were incredibly rude, and shoved us in like cattle/sardines. For the price you pay, they certainly ought to treat you better. I've had better fare, and shows, at renaissance faires. When you're doing the tourist thing, expect to pay the tourist prices. YMMV. All that said, it's still a fun time...

Just as soon as I get around to winning the lotto, I'm building a castle, and hosting a faire. :-D
