Drat! I just bought a 4gb on Amazon for $10 bucks a few days ago. It's ok though, cause I don't necessarily need the 8gb. But to have gotten it for the same price would have been epic.

That is interesting. I would have thought that "Sold Out" meant no more no way. I wonder if it's just a matter of someone picking up the phone and asking the vendor how quickly they can get more of them?

Nook Color is awesome after you root it; surprisingly good performance, even in 3D games like Asphalt 5. Of course, a number of apps are a little... 'special' on it, as it's not an officially market-capable device (Asphalt 5 draws everything one inch down from its touch zone on the screen, and a good number of other games don't deal well with the resolution and placing things together). Occasionally will have a weird touch-registering glitch, but it's pretty rare. Still worth every penny even at full price.

Kind of annoyed I'd missed this; would have liked to drop temp-Honeycomb on just to test things out, and need a higher class card for things to run acceptably.

Just to let you all know, the brand isn't that great. I bought two 16gb Class 10 cards from Newegg from this brand back in December/January. Both were used in my phone and both are already dead. I was lucky enough to at least manage to get the pictures off of them before they died.

Having said that, if you're using them for something you don't care too much about, then go for it!
