@iggz: Looks cool to me. Of course, if the intent is to escape from the significant other, spending to much may give cause to escape.
This is not a deal. Zoning busted a couple, in a town I used to live in, for renting "rooms" in those Suncast sheds they sell at Costco, for about $1000. They had 7 of them, in the back yard, each with 2 tenants. They added a PVC bucket and between the sheds put a large tarp. They even provided a giant cooler and a grill, for cooking (everything tastes better eaten outdoors, doesn't it! ). Much better bang for your buck.
Of course, if you plan on forcibly keeping the SO in this thing, you can go with a no frills version, which at first glance, seems win-win. It's much more attractive, and the HOA and zoning will probably be OK with the design. But to be humane, you will have to provide other accommodations, and that will also drive up the cost. Ventilation and a port-o-lets aren't free, and have to be maintained, so this is really only good for short term use. In the long run, you may find this costing more in legal fees than a Vegas divorce. YMMV : )
What a deal! In for three!
Signed up with several IDs. In for 200. Modifying the design to be more of a log-cabin mansion. Having a bit of trouble right now with the second floor balancing properly on the sloped roof of the first floor, but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. I thought putting a hole in the floor of the rooms on the upper floor would work as I could slide down to the first floor, but the asphalt shingling is causing chafing.
Free shipping? I'm in!
no that's not creepy at all
