Upvoting this because I DO like alot of their shirts, though if you're willing to pay the shipping be aware:
A- Check their sizing chart. I can usually wear a medium or a large, I ordered a large and it was tighter than most of my mediums
B- Shirt material is very thin, expect to need an undershirt with it
Buyer beware:
Bustedtees keeps having sales because they bought a bunch of cheap, sub-par stock and they're trying to pawn it off on their consumers.
They used screenprint on high-quality American Apparel shirts, but they've now switched to low-quality blanks that are thin and not nearly true to size.
A few months ago, I ordered four shirts each in Medium and received products with identical tags, and each had significantly different measurements. A month and two attempts at exchanges later, the customer service rep came clean about the defective shirts, and I demanded refund instead.
Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of their designs and I used to LOVE Bustedtees, but their quality has simply gone down the tubes. They are not the value they used to be, and the company is hedging their bets that you'll keep a poor-quality product over bothering with the returns.
Suffice it to say, their greed lost a customer.
Scumbag Bustedtees.
Offering a better deal <1 week after having a sponsored deal.
What I noticed when I was considering buying some tees during their sponsored deal was that if you click PayPal on the first page of the checkout process, it charges you without ever telling you how much the shipping is! If you're going to use PayPal, first click "Standard Checkout," and then select PayPal on the next page.
I can't even get this coupon to work. With 1 tee in my cart (it's still in there from the other day), it shows $12.99 as the subtotal on the first page. After I click "standard checkout" the subtotal on the next page is $20 BEFORE shipping. But the coupon is still listed down at the bottom with the payment info. WTF? Weird thing is the shipping is $5.99 for a split second on that page, and then it switches to $7.99. Just too many red flags with this company. Too bad, I really like that Wizard of Oz BRAINS shirt. Do they sell it on GoApe too?
@tossthedice: Their sizing is really weird. I normally get a Men's Large on all the other t-shirt sites. According to their chart, I would need to get a 2XL. Even then it would still be shorter. If their stock is messed up, I really don't want to take a chance on this. Not that I would with the coupon not working for me.
They've got a couple of shirts I like, but due to the comments, I'm not buying! I bought a shirt from Tanga once that was of a different quality than every other shirt I'd bought there. It, too, was very thin and way too small. After one wash, it was crap. Fortunately, that only happened once and I continue to buy from Tanga. I'm thinking that these are probably the same type of crappy shirts. You think by the prices they're charging, they'd be able to offer a decent shirt. Hell, at the swapmeet, there's a lady that sells screen printed shirts at 5 for $10 and they're printed on Hanes Beefy Ts or another brand of similar quality. If the swapmeet lady can turn a profit at that price, you'd think Bustedtees would wise up and use a better shirt.
