Ahhhh, the Sansa. Reminds me of the better days at woot!

@sfcchase: Alas. Poor Woot. I knew him well. But gone are the Sansa days of yore. One must move forward.

I'm going to buy her so that she doesn't have to marry King Joffrey.

@sfcchase: Couldn't have said it better...sigh.

Great little player well worth the cost. @sfcchase don't think the "new Woot" is a forward move.

I miss the old woot! and the almost monthly Sansa offerings.. I LOVE my Sansas.. I need another Fuse ( not FUZE ) 8 gig... sigh.

LOVE MINE! I use it every day. It is such an awesome little player. I really like that fact that it can also play all my FLAC files so well.

I likewise LOVE my Sansa (via woot!) products. And not only is this a manufacturer refurb at a great price for a 4 GB model, but it also takes micro SD cards (according to the details and pictures) for an even bigger bang for your buck...

This is actually the Clip+ (plus) if I'm not mistaken... Wish I could justify but I have 6+ Sansas in the drawer and use my cellphone more now...

I love my clip zip (got it at Costco on a clearance markdown) for running. I just wish they'd make a waterproof model for the really rainy runs. My friend got some "out of somebody at Woot's desk drawer" half broken RCA waterproof mp3 player. If I'm not mistaken I can't skip tracks on it but it does play. It doesn't clip though, which is the reason I love my clip zip.

@basschica: Search for a silicone case for it, I've got one for my clip+, so I'm sure there's a comparable product out there.

These are great with Rockbox, people. Installing it retains the original firmware so if you don't like it, it's completely safe to erase it afterward.

Why I recommend Rockbox is that it actually sounds better. The EQ is tweaked, and it brings out the midtones of my music much more distinctly (Rock, rap, classical, everything.)

It wasn't placebo, because I had no idea it would do that. In my first test of it, I thought "What the heck? Did something happen to my headphones?" but really, it sounds great. There are plenty of other benefits, but I'll leave that up to you to investigate, in the spirit of mystery.
